Michelle Laidlaw

Hi my name is Michelle and I am so happy to welcome you to Vitality Health & Fitness. The idea behind VItality has been in my heart for a long time and I am so excited to be in a place where I can now share it all with you!

I have 12 years of Secondary teaching experience in areas such as healthy living, leadership, physical education, fitness and coaching in a wide range of athletics. My passion in these areas initially lead me to an honours degree in Health and Physical Education and a variety of elective courses in nutrition and community health sciences.

I am passionate about connecting with and helping others and have had great success connecting with and helping students make positive changes in my teaching career. I am now looking forward to continuing to connect with and help community members make positive changes through Vitality.

I can’t wait to get started working on your Vitality- a feeling of aliveness in both the physical and mental sense. Working on strength, activity and energy. I hope that moving your body will be the beginning of a new outlook on living a life full of vitality.

Leah Reynen-

Meet Leah Reynen. Leah’s kind demeanor, strong educational background and knowledge make her an excellent addition to the Vitality Health & Fitness team.

Leah has a Bachelor of Science Food and Nutrition, specializing in evidence-based nutrition coaching and meal plans. She is also a certified personal trainer through the International Sports Science Association specializing in individualized personal training plans.

We are so very lucky to have Leah join our team.

Alyssa Hyde-

In-Studio Team

Meet Alyssa Hyde, Alyssa joins our team with a fun and unique background in movement working in therapeutic recreation by day. She brings her wonderfully positive and vibrant energy to classes and it is enormously evident that she has true passion for helping others achieve their movement goals and feel great. She loves working with clients both 1:1 and in groups to help them find meaningful ways to incorporate leisure, sports and self-care activities into their lives that they enjoy.

CarolAnne DeNeve-

In-Studio Team

Meet CarolAnne DeNeve, CarolAnne is a certified Stott Pilates Instructor with a passion of learning, growing and participating in all things health and fitness. CarolAnne is currently learning and growing in her yoga certification and is looking forward to learning and practicing these instructional skills in studio. She has been a long time participant of yoga with a wide range of experience and wants to take her passion as a participant into sharing with others.

CarolAnne is passionate about wanting all participants to feel good and optimize how their bodies move in her classes. She is great at offering modifications and suggestions to participants so that everyone feels comfortable and cared for in her classes.

We are so excited to have CarolAnne as a part of our team at Vitality Health & Fitness as she brings the rest, relaxation and restorative practice to our movement routines and balance in the studio.

Jenna Zaika

Meet Jenna Ziaka, Jenna is a part of our collaborative team at Vitality Health & Fitness. Jenna is a Registered Dietitian (most of her services are covered by many benefits plans) and founder of Intuition Nutrition in London, Ontario.

Jenna works in-person or virtually with clients out of 127 Queen St. in the Vitality Health & Fitness space at least once a month, but will also meet with clients in our space if requested outside of her in-house office hours once a month.

Jennas passion is Intuitive Eating and weight-inclusive care, helping clients break free from diet culture, discover the joy of eating and learn to trust their guts.

Jennas approach to Nutrition is refreshing and the individual in many dimensions of health. Nutrition is something to approach on an individualized basis taking all things into consideration and Jenna nails it.

Dr. Kate Walker

Meet Dr. Kate Walker. Kate is a Doctor of Chiropractic and Acupuncture Provider at Alliance Wellness and a part of our collaborative team at Vitality Health & Fitness.

Kate provides a number of services in combination with education, exercises and lifestyle advice to improve health and fitness.

Kate runs a Post-Natal Rehab Program out of the Vitality Health & Fitness Space quarterly. She provides incredible healing, body awareness and movement advice to post-natal women at all stages.
